The aim of this study is to clarify teachers’consciousness under school choice in public elementary and junior high schools in Tokyo, Japan. Often times, school choice has been discussed from the point of students or parents, in short from those who use the system. The originality of the present research is that it focuses on teachers’consciousness, or on teachers who are the ones to be chosen.
本研究旨在探讨日本东京公立中小学教师在择校行为下的意识。很多时候，学校选择是从学生或家长的角度来讨论的，简而言之，是从那些使用该系统的人的角度来讨论的。本研究的创新之处在于关注教师意识，即关注教师是被选择者。
