Deviance Caused by Medical Treatment: Cases of HIV and DSD (Disorders of Sex Development)

本研究旨在揭示药物治疗引起的异常状态的发生机制。本研究主要涉及两种情况。一种是双性恋，另一种是由于血液制品污染而感染艾滋病毒。研究发现，医源性偏差存在着一种基本模式，表现出偏差“增强”的过程。然而，在患者体验的更深层次上，存在着各种偏差模式。从双性人案例中，我们发现了“深化”越轨的模式。在HIV病例中，发现了加倍偏差的模式，可称之为“再偏差”模式。

This research aimed to disclose the mechanism of the deviant condition which was caused by medical treatment. This research mainly dealt with two conditions. One is DSD (intersex) and the other is HIV infection due to tainted blood product.It was found that there can be a basic pattern of medicine-originated deviance, which shows the process of "enhancement" of deviance. However, in the deeper level of patients' experience, there were each kinds of pattern of deviance. From the DSD (intersex) case, it was found the pattern of "deepening" the deviance. About the HIV case, the pattern of doubling the deviance was found, which can be named as the pattern of "re-deviance."
