项目摘要

The four field researches in Germany were conducted during the term of the project firm April 2001 to March 2005 as follows :・Apr.2001〜Mar.2002 : In the state of North-Rhine Westphalia we researched and collected information of the outline of the Projects of the IBA Emscher Park which was carried out from 1989 to 1999 in the Ruhr industrial area. Furthermore, the field researches were conducted on over 20 cases such as the disused coal mine facilities of Waltrop and the disused steelworks facilities of Duisburg which are representative cases of utilization of industrial heritages in this project.・Apr.2002〜Mar.2003 : The field researches were conducted on over10 cases such as the Hamburger Bahnhofy a museum of contemporaiy art, and the Reichstag Building which are the representative cases of utilization of the historic structures in Berlin・Apr.2003〜Mar.2004 : The field researches were conducted on over 20 cases of conservation / restoration and utilization of churches, castles, farmhous … More es and historic remains in south Germany, mainly Frankfurt and Munchen.・Apr.2004〜Mar.2005 : In the state of North-Rhine Westphalia, the field researches were conducted on over 20 cases such as Ludwig Museum in Aachen, industrial facilities in Koeln-Mulheim, utilization cases in the redeveloping Rhein inner harbor and the concert hall in Dusseldorf which was former planetarium, etc. They are conservation and utilization cases of industrial heritages and modern architectures.Furthermore, during the term of the project, we invited German experts and architects in conservation and utilization of cultural heritage and held workshops three times as follows :・the first : July 11, 2002"the Conservation and Utilization of Industrial Heritage in Germany -Various Utilization of Histoiic Buildings Adaptable to the Present Society -"・the second : February 13, 2003"Rehabilitations of Historic Buildings in Germany -Various Utilization of Historic Buildings Adaptable to the Present Society-"・the third : October 15, 2003"Conservation of Modern Architectures in Germany -Various Utilization of Historic Buildings Adaptable to the Present Society-"The results of above researches and studies are described in the three books and a report as stated in attached sheet.
