英文摘要
Generating 3D structures with two-photon polymerization processes (2PP) has revolutionized many research fields in recent years. In particularly, a variety of research questions has been answered, ranging from microoptics to metamaterials and biomedicine. Presumably, 2PP-based 3D printing on the nanometer and micrometer scale will lead to increased knowledge and numerous innovations in the next years. The 2PP lithography instrument applied for here will support activities in several research areas at Heidelberg University, ranging from chemistry to biology and medicine. The proposed scientific projects therefore cover both chemical basic research and applications in materials science and life science.
