This research has looked at human interface and actually designed some systems, named GestureMan and Agora etc. We have examined the GestureMan system in the science museum and analyzed human-robot interaction from a sociological point of view.There are five keywords in this research : body posture, orientation, hand gesture, mutual observation, and bodily movement. We have developed a system considering these five keywords, and developed a robot which gives guidance to the visitor about the exhibits in the museum. We have found from the experiments that pointing gesture and the robot's head movement, laser spotting are all effectively used by the visitors in understanding the robot's guidance. By using a robot, we could confirm that varied gestures and mutual monitoring are important resources for communication.

这项研究着眼于人机界面，并设计了一些系统，如gestreman和Agora等。我们研究了科学博物馆中的手势人系统，并从社会学的角度分析了人机交互。本研究有五个关键词：身体姿势，方向，手势，相互观察，身体运动。考虑到这五个关键词，我们开发了一个系统，并开发了一个机器人来引导游客参观博物馆的展品。在实验中我们发现，指向手势、机器人头部运动、激光点阵等都是参观者理解机器人引导的有效手段。通过使用机器人，我们可以确认各种手势和相互监控是沟通的重要资源。
