项目摘要

1.言語的情報を自動的に空間的に構造化して表示するシステムをさまざまな題材に実際に用いて、その有効性を確認するとともに、その促進効果の理論的分析を行った(堀)。生理心理的指標を用いて語連合過程さらには言語的材料の脳内での処理のモデルを構築するための資料を得た(伊藤)。2.「不可能物体の数理」に関する講義により、だまし絵と呼ばれる一群の図形に関連する概念の間の階層構造がいかに変化するかを検討した。直観的にわかりやすい講義の場合は、それにより構造が目標とした方向により細かく分かれる傾向が見られた(杉原)。一連の心理実験により色名概念の獲得と運用のモデルを構築した(藤崎)。3.素朴理論の形成および改定についての実験とモデル化を行った。素朴生物学および素朴経済学に関して、領域固有性、因果的説明、認知的制約、概念的変化などを検討した。対象に関する素朴概念は、最初はそれに対する行為に埋め込まれているが、次第に対象の持つ属性や活動性という形で概念化され、さらに局所的知識の蓄積や改定をへて再構造化される(波多野)。また社会的事象に関する素朴理論も、手順のルーチンとしての概念化から、活動の目標や機能という観点からより柔軟な形に改定される(無藤)。4.未知の漢字熟語の意味推定に関して人間を被験体とする認知心理学的実験を行い、どのような知識がどのように利用されているか明らかにするとともに、その知見を人工知能のシステムの構築に利用した。漢字熟語の意味推定に個々の漢字の持つ原型的意味やその結合規則を利用することはもちろんであるが、人間とくに熟達した読み手の場合には、これらに加えて、既知の熟語からの類推が重要な役割を果たしていることが明らかになったため、これを機械的処理に組込み、実際に動くシステムを構築した(小嶋、亀田)。幼児の初期発話における文構造を主として助詞の分析を通じて検討した(水野)。
