At the Transport facilities, there are recently not only signs which show the directions and maps, but also many kinds of visual information, such as advertisements and shop signs. The purpose of this study is to find out how to design signs at these transport facilities. We searched for sign problems at the transport facilities through comparative investigation between stations and other similar facilities. In addition, a questionnaire survey to station users and staff and psychology experiment were conducted. The results are as follows :1.For the visibility of the signs and the harmony of the scenery at the premises, the advertisement should be put along the structure, or they should have some order. The Information Technology like projector or LED should be used.2.The color of the background on the signboard varied occasionally. When the color of the background changed, the similar color for the line color was occasionally mistaken for other similar colors during the experiment. So, we proposed to standardize the black background signboard. It is obviously easier to find and read than others, because they can be clearly distinguished from the signboard of the stores and other advertisement.3.As these results were concluded, the new sign design guideline for the transport facilities was proposed.
在交通设施方面,现时不单止有显示方向和地图的标志,还有很多视觉信息,例如广告和商店招牌。本研究的目的是找出如何设计在这些交通设施的标志。我们通过车站和其他类似设施之间的比较调查,寻找交通设施的标志问题。此外,还对车站用户和工作人员进行了问卷调查和心理实验。研究结果如下:1.为了提高标识的可视性和与场所景观的协调性,广告应该沿着结构放置,或者有一定的顺序。应使用投影仪或LED等信息技术。2.招牌上的背景颜色偶尔会变化。当背景颜色改变时,在实验过程中,与线条颜色相似的颜色偶尔会被误认为是其他相似的颜色。因此,我们建议将黑背景招牌标准化。在此基础上,提出了新的交通设施标识设计准则。
