[1]重点性と領域性が明確な成果を上げるため、群ごとに共同研究の推進を促し、平成3年度につぎのような前進をみることができた。(1)第1群「高度情報化と社会情報媒体の役割」(6班):群として「新しい映像情報産業とメディアの変容」「情報ネットワ-クの形成と社会的コミュニケ-ションの発展」をテ-マとする二つのシンポジウムを、平成4年度に開催するめどを立て、実現について検討を開始した。(2)第2群「高度情報社会における人間行動の変化」(7班):平成4年3月24日、「情報環境の変化と人間行動」「情報社会の陥穽」「環境変化への適応能力」「新しい情報環境と教育」をテ-マに、共同研究成果発表会を開催、次年度への発展の足掛かりを固めた(3)第3群「高度情報化の法体系と社会制度」(3班):初年度は各班別に研究を行う状態のまま推移したが、総合的な「情報法」の体系確立を目指す共同研究の開始についても、内部的な検討が進められている。(4)平4群「産業社会の情報化と経済システム」(6班):平成3年12月14日、合同研究会を開催、各班が中間的な研究成果を報告、相互に意見交換を行った結果、次年度秋に大規模な公開シンポジウムを開催することとし、その準備のため共同検討会を組織した。(5)第5群「高度情報社会の成立と文化変容」(4班):平成3年11月27日、群としての公開シンポジウム「文化変容の現在」を開催、共同討議のなかから、班別の、また群としての研究課題を洗い出し、次年度以降の研究活動の方向づけを明らかにした。[2]総括班は、サ-キュラ-(研究会通知)9号、ニュ-ズレタ-『メルクリウス』5号を発行、事務局UNIXシステムをDTP作業・電子メ-ル・BBS(電子掲示板)支援利用で実用化したほか、領域全休の活動の成果をEC委員会第12総局(ベルギ-)において報告した。
