平成3年度は記憶メカニズムの基本特性と実現方式の基本設計、及びファジイ論理による推論機構の構成、学習効果を考慮したヒュ-マン・インタフェ-ス機能の解明と実現方式の基本設計、知識処理システムにおける学習機能の解明を重点にした。主な成果は次の通りである。1.記憶メカニズムの基本特性 記憶モデルの基本特性について、神経生理学的観点から、記憶の転化に関わる具体的なフィ-ドバック回路の可能性を検討した。また、同モデルをワ-クステ-ション上に実現するアルゴリズムにより、記号列パタ-ンを学習させ、記憶の転化を実現する記憶グラフの構成を試みた。引続き、記憶の想起を検討中である。2.ファジイ推論機構の構成:ファジイ推論方式の基本構成は従来の方式を踏襲し、より柔軟な論理を表現するために様相演算を拡張したファジィ測度に基く様相を導入した。この様相はより人間的な信念、知識を表現するのに有用で、これにより柔軟な推論機構の構成が可能であるとの見通しを得た。3.ヒュ-マン・インタフェ-ス基本特性:超音波の位相差を用いた位置計測装置及び両眼視と運動視に対応した動的カメラマウントを開発し、コンピュ-タとビデオ機器を一体化したヒュ-マンシステムを構成した。操作対象とユ-ザとの空間配置を幾何学的に考察し、システム構成に適用して、空間知覚の効率を向上させた。4.知識処理システムの学習機能:知識処理原理実験システムをワ-クステ-ション上に構成し、記号処理への階層型ネットワ-クの適用可能性を検討した。姓名の漢字表記から読みを生成する問題で、学習デ-タ及び未知デ-タの想起実験を行い、良好な想起能力を実現できる見通しを得た。また、パタ-ン認識システムの特徴抽出性能が人間の特性に一致するように学習する問題で、有望な結果を得た。
