本年度の研究計画に従い、前年度までに形成した第二次国文学研究語彙電子化辞書作成用ソフト上に登録されている概数約6万件の基準語彙からなる国文学研究語彙[一般項目]につき、前年度までの整備済み分約2万件を差し引いた残り約4万件のデータのうち、今年度は約2万件にわたる同義語・連想概念語等の追加・削除・統合等のデータ整備を、上記ソフトを搭載した端末器4台上で実施した。整備内容は、基準語のかな付け、異表記漢字列の書き込み、同義語1・2列の階層化整備、連想概念語1.2.3列の固有名詞やダブり語の削除統合、ヘボン・訓令両用のローマ字付け、部分的な英語化等である。実施した時代別語彙は、昨年度に引き続く古代・中古・中世の3部門と新たに近代を加えた4部門の語彙である。このうち、本年度の作業で、古代・中世の2時代の語彙は、ほぼ基礎的整備を終了しえた。残る中古・近世・近代のデータ整備は、次年度への課題とする。なお、作成用ソフトにおける若干の使い勝手の修正を施した。また、研究目的にであげている「将来の国文学言語地図作成のためのプログラムの基礎的開発と実験」に関しては、当館研究情報部助手相田満が研究代表者の基盤研究(A)「知識支援型汎用検索デバイスエンジン・データの構築(平成8年度〜11年度)」の知識支援型汎用検索デバイスエンジン上で、他の様々な国文学関係辞書との相互連動を図りつつ実施することが、本研究単独で遂行するよりも、より有効であると判断したため、当該研究と連携して具体的な利用プログラムの可能性を探ることとした。
