项目摘要

○初期写真資料調査・幕末に来日し写真導入期の日本に大きな影響を及ぼした外国人写真家RossierおよびBeatoらの関係写真資料調査を実施。東京国立博物館(5月)、ロイヤル・アルバート博物館(ロンドン、サウス・ケンジントン)、イギリス日本人会事務所(ロンドン)、パブリック・レコード・オフィス(ロンドン)、University Library of Cambridge(ケンブリッジ)、Private Collection Terry Bennett(ロンドン)、Private Collection Sebastian Dobson(ロンドン)(以上8月、姫野)、JCIIカメラ博物館、港区立港郷土資料館(以上12月)・旧士族の明治新政府に対する最大最後の反乱で、日本において戦争が公的かつ大規模に写真で記録された最初の例である西南戦争写真の調査を実施。三の丸尚蔵館(5月)。平成16年度に調査したペンタックスカメラ博物館の所蔵写真や日本大学芸術学部の所蔵写真と比較考証を行った。○初期写真資料復元・研究調査および復元作業を継続している上野彦馬所用の湿板写真撮影用携帯暗室(長崎県所蔵)について追加調査を実施(長崎歴史文化博物館、11月および平成18年3月)。平成16年度に作成した原寸大の木製簡易模型も参考とし、詳細復元品の製作を行った。・携帯暗室については国内に現存する資料が少ないため、世界有数のコレクションをもつ米国のジョージ・イーストマン・ハウス国際写真博物館で、携帯暗室の調査を行った(5月、高橋、次項の調査と同時)。○堆朱カメラの比較研究(平成14-15年度の特定領域研究課題から継続)・朱漆で仕上げられた堆朱カメラは幕末期に制作された現存する日本最古のカメラと考えられている。この堆朱カメラの原型と考えられている1840-1850年代のアメリカンダゲレオタイプカメラの調査を米国コネチカット州Matthew R.Isenburg Collectionおよびニューヨーク州ロチェスターのジョージ・イーストマン・ハウス国際写真博物館で実施(5月、高橋)。○シンポジウム・長野での「江戸のモノづくり」国際シンポジウムおよび第4回研究者集会への参加。平成16-17年度の研究調査を総括したポスター発表を実施。

A survey was conducted in 2016 to examine the photos of the museum's collections and compare them with those of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Japan.○ Preliminary photo data reconstruction·research investigation and reconstruction work carried out in a camera for wet plate photo photography used by Hikoma Ueno (Nagasaki Prefecture) Additional investigation carried out (Nagasaki Museum of History and Culture, November to March 2018) Heisei 16 years to create the original inch large wooden simple model for reference, detailed restoration of the production line A survey was conducted at the International Photo Museum with a darkroom (May, Takahashi, and the second survey).○ Comparative Study of the Japanese Ancient History (Heisei 14-15 Specific Field Research Project)·The Japanese Ancient History of the Japanese History of the Japanese History of the Chinese History of the Japanese History The prototype of this Collection was examined in the 1840- 1850s. The Matthew R.Isenburg Collection was opened in the United States.(May, Takahashi)○ "Edo no" by Nagano, and participation in the 4th researcher conference. The research and survey of Heisei 16-17 was carried out in a comprehensive manner.
