本研究は、信頼関係構築のプロセスにおいて、感情が与える影響や役割について追究するものである。日本企業における組織内コミュニケーションに注目して、研究期間内に、感情表出（または抑制）のルールが、どのように信頼関係の構築に影響を与えているかについてアンケート調査及びインタビュー調査を行い、その特徴を明らかにすることを試みる。2022年度は、感情表出（または抑制）のルールがコミュニケーションの中で、どのように共有され、信頼関係構築に影響を与えているか、という点について、既に収集していたデータの分析を行い、理解を深めた。2021年度には、職場の人間関係が悪化する「恐れ」、他者からの評価が悪化する「恐れ」に着目して分析を進めていた。そして、それらの「恐れ」を回避するためのコミュニケーションとして自己呈示の観点から考察した。2021年度の分析及び考察に基づき、2022年度は、信頼関係構築に対して効果的な自己呈示及びコミュニケーションパターンを追究し、論文を執筆した。当該論文では、主張的自己呈示及び防衛的自己呈示を効果的に行うことが「恐れ」に係る心理的負荷を軽減し、信頼関係を築く基盤の醸成に寄与していることを論じた。また、本研究の文脈が、感情労働の多い職場であり、このような「恐れ」回避のコミュニケーションは、感情労働の多い職場に特有の要因も含むことが示唆されたため、その点についてもデータ分析を進めた。2023年度はこれらのデータ分析及び考察を進めて、論文を執筆する予定である。
