项目摘要

本来は、研究活動の最終年度にあたり、総括的な成果発表を予定していたが、新型コロナウイルス感染症の流行／感染拡大の影響を受けて、そうした活動を行う見通しを立てられない状況が続いた。しかしながら、研究自体は前年度の活動を継続・発展させることによって、以下に挙げるように複数の成果に繋げることができた。第一には、臨床研究ではなく自由診療で実施される再生医療の実態を明らかにした研究論文を国際的な再生医学の専門誌に発表した。同論文は、複数の日本のマスメディアにも取り上げられて、大きな反響があった。また、同じ問題意識を持って、日本医事法学会の研究大会においてワークショップを開催し、医事法学の専門家との意見交換を行った。第二には、先端的治療法の医学的適応性と医師の説明義務に関する地裁判決についての解説・評釈を医事法判例百選（第3版）に発表した。第三には、研究倫理的規制について、医学研究機関等において講演・報告を行い、また、研究倫理指針の改正内容に関する情報発信を行い、研究倫理指針や法による規制の影響や問題点などについて研究現場の実情を踏まえて把握・検討することができた。第四には、国立研究開発法人日本医療研究開発機構令和３年度研究開発推進ネットワーク事業に参画し、医学研究の成果を社会に発信するために必要なツールの開発に従事した。研究の規制のみならず、研究の発展についてもあわせて考えることのできる有意義な機会であった。
