Comparative Analysis of Chinese Aid from the Recipients' Perspectives

This project has examined the process and economic, social impacts of Chinese aid from the recipients' perspectives by conducting field surveys. The countries in which this research project conducted the field surveys during 2008 and 2010 are Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, Congo and Mali in Africa, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and the Mekong region in Southeast Asia, and Brazil, Peru, Costa Rica and Cuba in Central and South America. In addition, research on the decision making process of Chinese Foreign Aid was done. The final output of this project is to be published in English, after editing work in 2011.
