项目摘要

Obsidian source provenance of stone tools from the Pleistocene archaeological sites in Hokkaido performed, using EPMA, hXRF and NAA methods, and adding to existing examples of the source provenance so far, obsidian tool distributed pattern of each source was analyzed. At the same time, elucidating the geological formation process of obsidian generation, and determining the standard chemical composition of elements from each obsidian source, standardization of archaeological obsidian source provenance study is archived. On the basis of these researches, actual situation of obsidian exploitation and circulation in the circum Japan Sea area is clarified, and the epochal timing on these patterns led to be delineated the dynamics of Pleistocene human societies.

利用EPMA、hXRF和NAA方法，对来自北海道更新世考古遗址的石器进行了黑曜石物源的物源分析，并结合目前已有的物源物源实例，分析了各物源的黑曜石工具分布模式。同时，阐明了黑曜石生成的地质形成过程，并确定了各来源黑曜石元素的标准化学成分，规范了考古学上黑曜石来源的物源研究。在此基础上，阐明了环日本海地区黑曜石开采和循环的实际情况，并对这些模式的时代进行了划分，从而勾画出更新世人类社会的动态。
