An Interdisciplinary Study on Cultural Interactions and Historical Ecology around the East China Sea and the Japan Sea

本研究以地理学、民俗建筑学、历史与民俗学为交叉学科，以东海、日本海、黄海、渤海与东北、朝鲜半岛、琉球与越南等五个区域为研究对象，分析并整合各种文化互动与历史生态。这里使用的分析概念和工具是交互、碰撞、合并、分离等。从建筑、聚落形态、土地制度、技术制度、信仰仪式、饮食文化等方面进行了分析，并在结论中指出了贯穿时间跨度的文化互动和环境因素的两种方式。此后，我们计划从这一点上出版每个领域的论文集和区域专著。

This interdisciplinary study, consisted of geography, folk-architecture, and history and folklore, aims to analyze and integrate various kinds of cultural interactions with historical ecology in the following five areas: The East China Sea; the Japan Sea, the Huang-hai, the Bo-hai and North-east China; the Korea Peninsula; and the broadly domain of Ryukyu and Vietnam. Analytical concepts and tools used here are interaction, collision, merging, separation and the like. The presentation includes architecture, settlement pattern, land-system, technological system, faith and rite, food culture as such.In the conclusion, we have found out two-ways of cultural interactions and environmental aspects thorough the span of time. Hereafter we are planning to publish collected essays and regional monographs on every area from this point.
