A study on new transport operation method towards public transportation reconstruction.

本研究提出了一种有助于公共交通系统重建的新运营方案，并通过目前正在运行的小型公共交通项目进行验证。在方案的构建和运行过程中，通过与传统公共交通的用户数据对比，获得了新型公共交通发展的新发现。特别是对于用户减少导致便利性降低，进而导致用户减少的恶性循环，通过实证分析表明，恶性循环可以转化为良性循环，随着用户的增加，公共交通的便利性也会增加。具体以京都乐南快线和旭町快线为例，从线路和时刻表设计、服务方案构建、运营前后的数据收集等方面阐述了公共交通的良性循环。

In this study, a new operation scheme which contributes to the reconstruction of the public transportation system is proposed, and verified through small scale public transportation projects which are operating at present.While constructing and operating the scheme, new findings of the new public transport development were obtained by comparing the users data with conventional public transportation. Especially, regarding the vicious circle that reduction of users leads to decrease of convenience, and further reducing the users, empirical analyses are provided to show that vicious circle can be reversed to a virtuous circle, where the convenience of public transport was increased together with increased users. Specifically, case studies of the Kyoto Rakunan Express Bus and the Asahimachi Bus are presented to illustrate the virtuous circle of public transportation with route and timetable design, service scheme construction, and data collection before and after the bus operation.
