项目摘要

1) 今年度の研究概要改革・開放後の経済発展のなかで一部の地域において急速に展開した農村工業へ吸引され地域移動する個人に焦点をあて、彼らの生活構造と生活意識について分析することを目的として行った研究の3年度目にあたる。今年度は前々年度の実態調査および前年度の集計分析と集中的ききとり調査のデータの総合的分析を行った。2) 総合的分析の概要出稼ぎ女性たちは農村工業化が殆どみられなく農業の規模も零細な地域から送りだされてきているが、送り出し家族の農業経営が解体したためではなく、余剰労働力として離村をしたとみなせる。受け入れ村における、労働・余暇・消費に関しては、出稼ぎ移動が女性労働者たちに現金収入と自律的経済生活をもたらしているが、それらは流動的かつ不安定な雇用状況のもとでの長時間労働によって可能となっていることを把握した。地域移動のパターンについては、同郷者どうしのネットワークのなかでの他出が確認され、他出後の生活も同郷者と一緒の工場と宿舎に生活空間が集約されていることを把握した。価値規範に関しては、工場労働に対する相対的な満足感がみられる一方、受け入れ村の社会にたいしては、非差別意識やよそ者意識をいだいていると分析された。出稼ぎ女性は受け入れ村の社会の外に位置づけられる単なる労働力とみなせる。しかし、少数ではあるが、受け入れ村の住民との結婚などを通して定住志向を示す外来女性もあり、農村人口の移動により、女性たちが新しいライフコースをたどり、受け入れ村の社会が変容する可能性もある。
