本研究は"非線形解析学とその周辺研究"と題して, 数学, 物理学, 制御工学, 理論経済学で発生する非線形問題を函数解析学的に把握し, それを理論面と応用の面から究明してきた. まず, それらの非線形問題を数学的に把握し, それを数学的に再構成してみたところ, ある種の非線形半群(non-expansive半群)の漸近的挙動の研究と解の存在に関する研究が重要であることがわかった. それでその研究を勧め, いくつかの有用な結果を得た. またそれはこれまで内外で研究されていた非線形発展方程式の理論を介在にすると, 理論経済学などで重要である凸計画の問題とも結びつけることができ, その方面でもかなりの成果を得た. これらの結果は内外の雑誌や日本数学会で公表され非常に関心をもたれた. また最近諸外国で引用されはじめたことを報告しておきたい. 次に数理計画に最適化問題に関しても面白い結果が得られた. それらの分野で重要である非線形問題に関する定理が, 多価の不動点定理やmini-max定理を用いると無限次元空間の定理にまで拡張でき, それは函数解析学で重要であるHahn-Banachの定理やMazur-Orliczの定理のもっと一般的で, きれいな結果を得るのに用いられた. 同時に, 精密な分離定理や最短距離に関する定理の証明にも用いられ, これらの定理は米国の数学者の好評を得た. また応用面では経済均衡論で有用な核の存在定理などにも用いられ, それらの分野での新しい研究手法を提起した. その他, 数理計画やゲームの理論経済均衡論等で重要である非線形変分不等式に関する結果も得られている. これらの結果は本当に予想以上であった. これは夏休みを利用しての大量の文献収集やその整理, ならびに非線形問題に興味をもっている他大学の研究者との数多くの研究打ち合せや討論が効を奏した結果であろう. 以上の成果は学協会誌に公表した他に"Nonlinear Functional Analysis"と題して印刷物にした.

This paper is a study of non-linear analysis and its application in mathematics, physics, engineering and theoretical economics. A mathematical reconstruction of nonlinear semigroups is important for the study of asymptotic motion of nonlinear semigroups and the existence of solutions. The results of this research are useful. The theory of non-linear evolution equations is introduced into the theoretical economics, and the important problems of convex projects are solved. At the same time, precision separation theorem and the shortest distance theorem are proved by many mathematicians. The existence theorem of useful nuclei in the theory of equilibrium is proposed in this paper. In other words, mathematical theory, equilibrium theory, etc. are important for non-linear differential inequalities. The result is that I want to be above. This is a great deal of literature collection and collation, and a great deal of interest to researchers from other universities. The above results were published in the journal of the Institute of Education and published in the journal "Nonlinear Functional Analysis".
