本研究项目于1988年至1992年开展，由前NIER主任，现日本大学教授SATOW Hideo领导。该项目的目的是为日本近代史教育史专业术语的英语翻译规范化提供基础数据。本报告内容如下：前言：研究计划的成员、期限和公共援助。（一）日本教育史专业术语英译规范的基础研究及西方语言出版的日本教育史相关资料调查。（作者：佐藤秀夫）II 1875-1937年日本政府官方出版物中出现的日本教育史专业术语英译表。三、《1897-1932年文部大臣年报英文版》中有关日本教育的主要条款的英文翻译一览表。四、关于战前日本教育的英文翻译资料未完成清单。

This Research Program has been carried out from 1988 to 1992 under the leadership of Hideo SATOW, former director of NIER, now professor of Nihon University. The intention of this Program is to offer basic data for standardizing English translations of technical terms used in the field of Modern History of Japanese Education.The contents of this Report are as follows ;ForewordMembers, terms, and Public Aid of the research Program.I Basic study of standardizing English translations of technical terms used in the field of History of Japanese Education and investigation of materials relating to History of Japanese Education published in Occidental languages.
