1980年代の世界各国の対外貿易不均衡の拡大は、様々な国際的あつれきと調整問題を引き起こしているが、一方で、それらは国際間の資本移動の原動力となっており、長期的には国際的な資本資源再配分による国際産業構造調整の過程にあるともいえる。これら財貨サ-ビス、生産資源、金融資産の国際的取引の異なった調整速度は、動学的過程で国際的な不均衡を生じさせている。この研究は国際的資本取引のうち、直接投資、ODAといった直接間性に生産力を伴う資本移動・移転がもたらす生産構造の長期的変化を実証的に把握し、生産技術の国際的拡散過程を通じた国際競争力の市場圧力が産業・貿易構造に与える影響、特に途上国の経済構造・成長発展過程に与える影響の解析を試みる。実証モデル構築のための作業仮説として、今日の企業の資本進出が、単に古典的な資本の限界生産力均等化説だけでは説明し難い、有機的な技術・経営資源の移転拡散を伴う資本移動現象であることを念頭に置き、総体としての資本進出のマクロ経済効果を計測できるように途上国計量経済モデルを作成することに努力した。このモデルでは、資本受入国の経済社会基盤整備状況とそれらに関連するODAの役割を陽表化した構造を持つことが、広義の経済協力体制を政策的に分析できる特徴を持つ。また、産業・貿易構造の変化を把握するため、生産、投資、雇用、輸出、輸入等の部門構造を含んでいる。当面の対象国としては、近年発展著しいタイ国経済を選んだが、民間資本流出入等一部の資料収集に困難を極め、研究作業に制約を与えることとなった。社会資本、民間資本の成長構造を組み込んだ動学的構造を持つ、年次標本による中規模連立体系モデルとして、分配面、価格調整面、金融面の構造に課題を残しているものの、分析目的からみて一応バランスのとれたモデルとなっている。今後、政策シミュレ-ション分析を各種行い、結果を取りまとめる予定。
