(研究経過)1.「オリエンテーリング」関係図書お呼び教科用図書を「社会科」を中心に収集した。いくつかの教科書について内容項目を整理し日本の福祉教育と比較する用意を行った。2.昭和63年度下期に、同一テーマの研究遂行のため民間財団の助成を得てスウェーデンに短期出張し当地の専門家、教科書執筆者等と意見交換し有益な示唆を得た。(研究内容)上記の経過を踏まえて概略的な論文をまとめた(裏面に記載した論文がそれである)。1.「オリエンテーリング」の教科としての成立過程の把握。2.現行の「オリエンテーリング」の教科書のうち特徴的なものについて具体的な記述内容を検討すること。以上2点が初年度あきらかにできたことである。1については1878年より1980年に至る教育課程8冊を通覧し、「オリエンテーリング」成立の概要を歴史的に整理した。1919年版が「オリエンテーリング」成立の萌芽期と考えられる。1955年版による「社会科」の登場で民主的な社会の成員としての教育が明確に志向され、「麻薬・飲酒から解放する教育」「性教育」「交通安全教育」などがこの教科の課題として指摘されている。これら一連の課題によって1955年版は「オリエンテーリング」の実質的な拡充期とみなされる。その後1969年版で自然科学系、社会科学系の全教科が一本化され、名実ともに「オリエンテーリング」の確立とみた。2については、スウェーデンの「福祉教育」に特有であって日本の「福祉教育」に欠落していると思われる、いくつかの特徴的な記述内容を引用し検討を試みた。次年度は以上の考察を深め、教科書及び教材の内容の分析を継続していく予定である。

The 1955 edition of this series of topics was published in the journal "The History of Science and Technology." In the 1969 edition, the Department of Natural Sciences and the Department of Social Sciences were unified, and the name of the department was established. 2. Please refer to the description of the characteristics of "Well-being Education" in Japan. In the next year, the above investigation and analysis of textbooks and teaching materials will be carried out.
