项目摘要

本研究課題の研究は、抽象論の研究、応用、数値解析の三つに分けて進められた。1.抽象論研究の成果非線型抽象発展方程式として、ヒルベルト空間上で定義された時間依存の凸関数の劣微分作用素によって支配される放物型方程式の解の存在と一意性、解の漸近挙動等の結果が得られた。また、非線型方程式を線型化して解くときに有効なナッシュ・モーザー方法(スケールを持ったバナッハ空間系を使う方法)の改良がなされた。これらの結果は、物理・工学の問題に応用する際十分に価値があると思われる。2.応用相転移を伴う現象を、自由境界問題として数学的に考察することに重点が置かれた。ステファン問題では、自由境界制御問題を設定するために、境界上で凸関数の劣微分で表現されるようなフラックス条件下での解の一意性が議論され、この種の問題にも「粘性解」のクラスが有効であることが示された。また、非定常ダム問題では、従来よりも、より一般な形で問題設定がなされ、解の存在、一意性のみならず、時刻t→∞での解の漸近挙動、特に、周期解の存在とその漸近安定性についての興味ある結果が得られた。3.数値解析と数値実験ステファン問題、非定常ダム問題、弾塑性体のねじれ等に伴う自由境界問題の数値実験を行った。これらはまだ進行中であるが、特に、弾塑性体のねじれによる弾性領域と塑性領域の変化の様子を具体的にシミュレーションすることが出来そうである。また、外力に応じて弾性領域を制御する、つまり、一種の自由境界制御問題についても、その数値実験の結果が近々に出るものと予想される。
