项目摘要

抄物は,漢籍・仏典・国書を対象とした注釈書で,それらの原典を理解するために作成されたが,一方,それによって語彙・表現を身につけ,自らの表現に役立てようとした。この目的は辞書のそれに共通するのであって,特に室町末期になると,形態的にも辞書に連続する抄物が現われて来る。本研究は,この種の資料を発掘調査し,類別整理して,目録を作成し,日本語研究資料としての有効性を明らかにしようとした。1.調査・整理新しく発掘調査し得た該当資料に既調査の資料を加えて,対象化した結果,これらの資料が,その作成目的から次の6種に類別できることがわかった。(1)詩文を作成するためのもの京都大学図書館蔵『摘英集』他(2)褝宗の教義を理解するためのもの内閣文庫蔵『宗義名目』他(3)儒学・神道を理解するためのもの京都大学文学部蔵『逆耳集』・天理図書館蔵『休塵聞書』他(4)医学的知織を得るためのもの慶応義塾大学蔵『医学抜萃』他(5)有識故実の知識を得るためのもの内閣文庫蔵『官服聞書』他(6)その他2.日本語研究資料としての有効性(1)上記の(1)〜(3)は辞書的性格が強く,(4)〜(5)は事典的性格が強い。語句掲出方式・付音付訓・語釈等を見ると,辞書・事典に一致するものから遠いものまで連続していることが判明した。このことは辞書史研究上看過し得ないことである。(2)本資料群は,一般の抄物と同じく抄文部分が口語研究資料として利用し得るだけでなく,原典部分に当たる掲出語句の部分も言語研究資料として価値が高いことが判明した。
