项目摘要

アソシェ-ションスキイムの分類問題が長期的な究極の目的であるが、現時点においては、その関連問題であるアソシェ-ションスキイムの部分スキイムの存在問題と分類問題に取り組んだ。可換なアソシェ-ションスキイムが部分アソシェ-ションスキイムを持ったための必要十分条件がその指標表の条件として記述出来ることを見いだした。この応用としていくつかの具体的なアソシェ-ションスキイムに対してその部分スキイムの発見と分類をおこなった。特に単純群PSL(2,q)とSz(q)に対する群アソシェ-ションスキイムの部分アソシェ-ションスキイムを決定し、クラスの小さい良い部分スキイムの存在を示した、また群型でないアソシェ-ションスキイムが多数存在することを示した。この研究は他のアソシェ-ションスキイムの部分スキイムの今後の研究のモデルとなるであろう。その他、S.Y.Song,W.M.Kwokなどと共同で、いくつかのクラスのアソシェ-ションスキイムの指標表の性質を調べ、具体的な決定を行った。群GL(n,q)がnonーincidentな点と超平面の対上に働くアソシェ-ションスキイムの指標表を完全に決定し、またEnnola型dualityがいくつかのアソシェ-ションスキイムの指標表に見いだされることを示した。その他の研究としては、pseudoーcyclic typeと呼ばれるアソシェ-ションスキイムの性質を調べ、初等ア-ベル2群型のpseudoーcyclicアソシェ-ションスキイムはamorphicであるという伊藤ー生田ー宗政の最近の結果の簡単な別証を与えた。アソシェ-ションスキイム以外の代数的組み合せ論の研究、特に球面上のデザインなどの研究も行った。また坂内が研究代表者となって1990年12月に京大数理研で代数的組み合せ論の研究集会を行い大きな成功を収めた。
