群のコホモロジ-を計算するにあたり、通常ホモロジ-理論(resolutionの構成,ホモロジカル代数の応用等)だけでなはなく一般コホモロジ-を利用し一般線形群および有限P群の研究を行った。具体的にはGL_3(Fp)やlGl=p^3の群,meta cyclicな群については複素Kーtheory,BPーtheoryともわかっているので,これらを利用してよい大きなP群,たとえばextra pー群,rankpG=2の群について研究を行なった。とくに,現在,アメリカ東海岸,MIT,エ-ル,ジョンズホプキンス大等で,moravak理論の研究がさかんになりいろいろな分野で応用されている。そこでは分類空間BGのmoravak理論K(n)^*(BG)が重要となっている,我々はK(n)^*(BG)と通常ホモロジ-H^*(BG)=H^*(G)の関係を調べ,MoravaK理論にも通常コホモロジ-にも新しい事実をいくつか発見した,たとえば表現環R(G)のfiltrationについてのPー群のAtiyah予想の反例をみつけた。
