英文摘要
Porphyromonas gingivalis has been associated with adult periodontitis in human. The organism has been shown to attach to collagen which is major component gingival tissue. Moreover, we found that there were clear heterogeneity among P. gingivalis strains in their attachment to collagen coated HA. Avirulence strains adherent to oral tissue much than virulence strains in gigival sulcus. We have also clarified that an overall corelation was noted between the adsorption of strains P. gingivalis to hexadecane and their numbers which attached to collage formed on hydroxyapatite surfaces. Our study has proved the evidence that the difference in hydrophobic properties of strains may be due to difference of fimbriae which has appeared to be capable of attachment to collagen coated HA. On the other hand, vesicles have the adhesion which were adherent to pellicle or collagen coated hydropxyapatite regardless of virulence.
