An Experience in Collecting Documents and Interviewing with Key Persons History of Science Society in Japan.

History of Science Society of Japan was formed as a first general and interdisciplinary society in the year 1941. And a historical study of science was founded on general and interdisciplinary sciences. We have made investigations into the development of this Society and this historical study. We interviewed the senior memberes of the Society to collect materials for our investigation. They gived us historical materials and memoirs with our request. This investigation aimed at making video tapes recording of their talks, so that we could not publish these records in the report on our investigation. However, we keep all the data on file. We should refrain from making these public because we must carry out a further examination of the influence of these publication on parties concerned. In our report all activities of Society are classified by department, and each of them are listed in chronological order.
