1.ラテンアメリカの左翼知識人の多くは、1970年代の末から理論的革新を開始した。その内容は、(1)教条的マルクス・レ-ニン主義批判、(2)政治的民主主義の積極的評価、(3)国民的合意に基づく政治の模索、(4)あらゆるレベルにおける民主化の推進、(5)国家不信と市民社会の重視、(6)国家・政党など制度的領域の不信、(7)自律的社会運動の重視、(8)直接民主制の強調、(9)主観性、アイデンティティ、共同体勘定の重視、(10)多様なアイデンティティの受容、などを内容としていた(これを「第1期の変化」と名づける)。これらの理論的革新は、左翼知識人たちが密接に関わっていた左翼政党にも、若干の遅れを伴いながら浸透していった。2.1980年代後半からは、さらに新たな変化が見られる(「第2期の変化」と名づける)。第1期の変化と異なるところは、(1)経済プロジェクトの穏健化、(2)直接民主制に対する間接民主制の重視、(3)国家・政党などの制度的領域の重視と、社会運動の軽視、(4)マルクス離れ、などである。3.本研究が主たる考察対象としたチリ、ブラジル、ペル-の場合、第2期の変化が明瞭に現れているのはチリのみである(チリ社会党右派、及び民主化党)。ブラジル(労働者党)及びペル-(元統一左翼の構成メンバー)の場合は、全体としてまだ第1期の思想の大枠の中にある。しかし、その大枠の中で、第2期の方向への変化も見られる。4.ソ連・東欧の社会主義圏崩壊の影響は、主として経済プロジェクトに関するものであった。しかし、資本主義体制への対抗物がなくなったという点で、心理的な影響もあった。

1. Many left-wing intellectuals began to innovate in the late 1970s. The contents of the article include: (1) dogmatic criticism of dogmatism;(2) positive evaluation of political democracy;(3) basic political model of national consensus;(4) promotion of democratization;(5) importance attached by the state to civil society;(6) importance attached by the state to political party systems;(7) importance attached by self-disciplined social movements;(8) emphasis on direct democracy;(9) subjectivity;(10) Diversity of information, content, and community identification. The innovation of the theory of the left wing is closely related to the political party of the left wing, and some of them are closely related to the political party. 2.1980 In the second half of the year, the new era will be seen ("the second period of change" and the name will be changed).
