今年度の研究成果は以下の通りである。1.SCOPE第8期は(1)持続可能な開発(2)生物地球化学的サイクル(3)地球規模の変化と生態系(4)健康と生物毒物学の4つのクラスターの下に19プロジェクトを進めている。これにどのようにアジアおよび日本が寄与していくかを検討するため現状を精査し、協力の在り方を検討した。2.これらの現状調査と協力体制の検討結果をふまえ、アジア地域で重要と思われるプロジェクトを想定し、SCOPE本部と連絡をとりつつ協力体制を確立した。3.日本とアジア地域で特有の研究課題候補を策定した。さらにアジア諸国と密接な連絡を取りつつ、検討を重ね1995年5月末、日本で開催される第9回総会に初日はアジアSCOPE分科会を開き、第9期にアジア地域から提案する新しいプロジェクトを検討し決定することが決まった。4.1995年5月29日〜6月3日に日本で開かれる第9回総会はアジア地域では初めてである。第9期以降アジア地域が組織的にSCOPEの活動に積極的に活動し、協力していくためには環境問題への日本の取り組みの現状を加盟各国と国際学術団体に衆知して貰うことが必要と考え、SCOPE理事会との合意を得て日本の環境科学研究の現状というテーマで半日のシンポジウムを決め、具体的な内容と演者を決定した。さらにアジア地域の組織的な今後の活動を進めるため、第9期のメインシンポジウムのテーマに「アジアにおける稲作」を取りあげ、アジア各国と協議しつつ、4つのサブテーマと演者を決定した。5.以上の作業を通じ、日本のSCOPEへの国際対応とその組織化を具体的に検討した。以上の成果を得るための全体会議4回、プログラム委員会3回、事務局会議を11回開催し、合わせてSCOPE本部と月2回連絡し、研究を遂行した。

This year's research results are as follows. 1. SCOPE No. 8:(1) Sustainable development;(2) Biogeochemistry;(3) Earth-scale evolution;(4) Health; and (4) Biotoxicology. This is a review of the status quo and a collaborative review of the situation. 2. The investigation results of the current situation and the cooperation system are discussed, and the important areas are discussed. The cooperation system is established. 3. Research topics specific to Japan's regions are scheduled. At the end of May 1995, at the beginning of the 9th General Meeting of Japan, the SCOPE Sub-Committee was opened, and the 9th General Meeting of Japan was held. 4.1995 May 29~June 3, 2013 Japan Open Meeting The 9th issue of SCOPE is organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The activities of SCOPE are active, cooperative, and the status quo of environmental research in Japan is determined by the participation of various countries and international academic organizations. The future activities of the organization in the field of failure shall be carried out in accordance with the agreement of the relevant countries, and the decision of the performer shall be made in accordance with the agreement of the relevant countries in the ninth issue. 5.
