本研究はキャンプの活動場面で指導者が経験する状況の認知構造を明らかにすること,また,指導者の状況認知の個人差について検討することが目的であった。まず予備調査を9月〜11月に実施した。予備調査ではキャンプ場面における状況の抽出と状況構造の検討を行った。キャンプで経験される40の状況を設定し,キャンプ指導の専門家30名にその分類を行わせた。得られた分類データをクラスター分析と多次元尺度法を用いて分析した結果,キャンプ指導者はキャンプ場面における状況を「キャンパーの問題行動の状況」「専門的キャンプ技術が必要な状況」「身体的な試練の状況」「感動の状況」の4つに分類し認知していることが明らかになった。本調査は12月〜2月中旬に実施した。本調査では状況認知の指導者の個人差を明らかにすることをねらいとした。まず,状況認知評定尺度を作成した。状況認知評定尺度は予備調査での結果を参考に多次元尺度法で得られた類似度の大きい状況を4つの分類からそれぞれ4状況ずつ選び16の状況を用いた。そして12の形容詞対で7段階評定の状況認知評定尺度を作成した。また、調査対象の属性(性,指導歴等)を調べるためのフェースシートも添付した。調査対象はキャンプ指導経験のある男女200名とした。調査用紙は郵送法で調査用紙を配布した。有効回答のある150名を回収しデータの整理とコンピュータへの入力作業を終えた。分析方法としては多次元尺度法個人差モデルと3相因子分析法を用いた。現在,状況認知の個人差について検討を行っている。状況認知の個人差についての知見が得られ次第,予備調査と本調査の結果と考察の総括を行う。成果については,平成7年度日本体育学会で発表する予定である。また論文の投稿先については検討中である。
