国際社会の意志決定手続きは、選択肢に関する各国の選好や態度を表明させ、それらを集約するもの、と一般的にはとらえることができる。本研究は、以下のようなケースで、次のことを行っている。すなわちi)戦略的行動を抑止すると同時に他の望ましい条件を満たす決定手続きを探す、または考察する。ii)得られた決定手続き、またはそれを含むあるクラス手続きしか、望ましい諸条件を満たせないことを、数理的に証明する。1.公共財のみのケース。資源制約の下で、戦略的行動抑止性と効率性の弱い条件を満たす決定手続きは、Voting by Committeesと呼ばれるクラスの決定手続きだけであることを、Barbra教授との公共論文で証明した。単独論文「Power of Voters and Domain of Prefences where Voting by Committees is Strategy-Proof」と「An Impossility Theorem in Pure Public Goods Economies with Feasibility Constraints」も同様の問題を扱ったおり、Journal of Economic Theoryと季刊理論経済学より掲載通知を受けた。2.一つの公共財と一つの私的財のケース。戦略的行動抑止性と個人合理性など他のいくつかの望ましい条件を満たす決定手続きでは、費用負担スケジュールが前もって決められ、最小需要原理により公共財生産量が決められなければならないことを、「Strategy-Proof and Indiviually Rational Social Choice Function in Public Good Economies」において証明し、Economic Theoryより掲載通知を受けた。
