社会の意志決定手続きは、実現可能な選択肢に関する社会構成員の選好や態度を表明させ、それらを集約するもの、と一般的には捉えることができる。国際社会における決定手続きも同様である。本研究では、社会の決定手続きを、社会の構成員の選好プロファイルの集合から選択肢の集合への関数として、数学的に定式化し、Social Choice Functions(社会的選択関数)と呼ぶ。本年度は、私的財が複数存在するケースについて、Strategy-Proofness(戦略的選好表明を抑止する社会的選択関数の性質)、Pareto-EfficiencyおよびIndividual Rationality(個人合理性)やSymmetry(対称性)を同時に満たす社会的選択関数の存在可能性について研究した。以前からHurwicz(1972)の結果を拡張し、任意の有限の社会構成員がいる場合について以下のことを証明することに携わっている。(i)There is no strategy-proof, Pareto-efficient, and individually rational rule on the class of classical, homothetic,and smooth preferences.(ii)There is no strategy-proof, Pareto-efficient, and symmetric rule on the class of classical,homothetic,and smooth preferences.本年度は、上記の命題の証明の細部を改定すると同時に、Symmetryをより弱い条件にすることに成功した。

The will of the society determines whether or not it is possible to choose the right attitude of the members of the society, whether or not it is intensive, whether or not it is general. The international community decided to cooperate. This study focuses on social decision making, social choice functions, mathematical formalization, and Social Choice Functions. This year, we conducted research on the existence of multiple financial relationships, Strategy-Proofness, Pareto-Efficiency and Individual Rationality, Symmetry, and the possibility of the existence of multiple financial relationships. The previous results of Hurwicz(1972) were extended and proved in the following cases with arbitrary finite social structure members. (i)There is no strategy-proof, Pareto-efficient, and individually rational rule on the class of classical, homothetic,and smooth preferences. (ii)There is no strategy-proof, Pareto-efficient, and symmetric rule on the class of classical,homothetic,and smooth preferences.
