The aim of this study is to place the gridless methods at the center of the CAE system as an analyzer. The gridless methods, which are different approaches from the grid methods like FEM or FDM,are categorized into two types : the first one utilizes the moving Galerkin method and the second one modifies the procedure for making FEM stiffness matrices. As to the first approach, it is found that the comparable accuracy to FEM is obtained when using the same node distribution. Also, Node-by-Node meshless method is developed, which does not need the background cell. By developing the paint brush tool for node generation as well as the interface with the CAD,the prototype of CAD/CAE system is developed. As to the second approach, which is "a kind of meshless method" evaluating the stiffness matrices by temporally defining the elememt, the massively parallel and/or the cluster computing have been performed. Also, higher-order element and the application to fluid analysis are considered.
