A learning support system using a mobile computer has been developed for children. A SHARP's "Zaurus", pen-based interface which was available to input data, was selected for the system. As a mobile computer "Zaurus" was originally developed for office workers, it was difficult for children to use. In order to solve this problem a tailored program using "ADDIN tool kit" was developed.By using this learning support system, students are1) able to gather information easily outdoors2) able to exchange their data easily each othre3) able to expand their curiosity.

已经为儿童开发了使用移动的计算机的学习支持系统。为该系统选择了SHARP的“Zaurus”笔式界面，可用于输入数据。由于一款移动的电脑“Zaurus”最初是为上班族开发的，孩子们使用起来很困难。为了解决这一问题，开发了一个使用“ADDIN工具包”的定制程序。通过使用这个学习支持系统，学生1）能够轻松地在户外收集信息，2）能够轻松地相互交换数据，3）能够扩大他们的好奇心。
