项目摘要

本研究を開始するにあたり、李錘〓(世宗研究所研究員)による『朝鮮労働党研究:指導思想と構造変化を中心に』(ソウル:歴史批評社)を入手することができた。これは、従来、実証性という点で問題のあった北朝鮮政治研究の研究水準を飛躍的に高めた記念碑的な研究であると言える。したがって、本研究者は、この研究を足がかりにして、研究で使用されている一次史料を、科研費で購入した労働新聞のマイクロフイルムやその他の研究を利用しながら調査する作業を続けた。その結果、一般的に植え付けられた北朝鮮政治経済の静態性イメージとは異なり、冷戦構造の緊張及び弛緩により、具体的には中ソ両国との関係の変化を媒介として、金日成を中心とする「唯一指導体制」が動揺をはらみながらも堅固化する過程のダイナミズムを、『労働新聞』や『民主朝鮮』などの一次史料を綿密に分析することにより、抽出することができた。今後は、同時期の韓国における政治変動との比較作業を通して、韓国と北朝鮮との政治体性及び経済政策の違いが、冷戦構造に対するどのような対応の違いによってもたらされたのかを解明する作業を継続していきたい。また、以上の歴史的研究は、現状分析にも次のような含意を提供した。それは、一般的に予想されたのとは異なり、ポスト冷戦が即時的に北朝鮮に解放政策をもたらしたわけではないということである。換言すれば、朝鮮半島における冷戦構造は、特に北朝鮮に対しては、それを与件とすることが体制の存在根拠であるような、唯一指導体制及びそれを支える唯一思想体系である主体思想を社会に深く植え付けたからであると言える。
