The aim of this research is clear up the essences of the belief of, so to speak Kakure - Kirishitan (Hidden Christian), which exists only at the Nagasaki Prefecture in Japan. In conclusion, from my long inquiry of Ikitsuki, Sotome and Goto areas, Kakure - Kirishitan neither hides himself nor is Christian. Modern Kakure - Kirishitan has completely syncretized with theJapanese folk-beliefs underthe long history of the persecutions. Its characteristic is the polytheism, ancestor worship, ritualism and the present gainjust like everyJapanese religion has elementary.They pray not for the God or Christ but their ancestors. They only respect the traditions that theirancestors have transmitted until now. But in the depth of their belief we can peep at the strong fear for the curse. What they truly believe is the spiritual beings that are thought to be able to control our life.

本研究的目的是要厘清只存在于日本长崎县的隐隐世基督徒信仰的本质。总之，从我对Ikitsuki，Sotome和后藤地区的长期调查来看，Kakure - Kirishitan既不隐藏自己，也不是基督徒。现代的极乐教在长期的迫害历史中与日本的民间信仰完全融合。它的特点是多神崇拜、祖先崇拜、仪式主义和现世主义，这是日本所有宗教都具有的基本特征，他们不是为上帝或基督祈祷，而是为祖先祈祷。他们只尊重他们祖先传下来的传统。但在他们信仰的深处，我们可以窥视到对诅咒的强烈恐惧。他们真正相信的是那些被认为能够控制我们生活的精神存在。
