インド原典からの「仏教論理学用語辞典」編纂の為の国際共同研究の最終年に当たり、昨年に引き続き仏教論理学の重要なインド原典のうちPramanavarttikalamkaraのコンピューター入力を完了した。本研究の主要なパートナーであるウィーン大学のチベット学仏教学研究所でもダルマキールティのHetubinduに対する複数の注釈のコンピュータ入力を完成している。今後の課題は、引き続き重要な仏教論理学テキスト、例えばTattvasamgrahapanjikaを入力し、広島大学文学部のホームページなどから一般に公開することである。ウィーン大学チベット学仏教学研究所から刊行予定の「仏教論理学用語辞典」は3部から構成される。第1部は、仏教論理学の主要な綱要書であるNyayabindu,Nyayapravesa,Tarkasopana,Hetutattvopadesaなどから集められた仏教論理学用語の定義集であり、これは既に完成している。第2部は、上記定義集には収められていないが重要と考えられる仏教論理学用語を理解するために必要な文章を綱要書以外の多数の仏教論理学テキストから集めたものである。記載項目は過去数度にわたる共同研究参加者の会合によって決定しているが、全ての項目について必要な情報が収集されるには到っていない。従って、近い将来その完成を目指している。第3部は、以上の資料にもとづいて、特に難解な仏教論理学用語の解説を試みるものである。その一部は、1997年11月広島市で開催した「第3回国際ダルマキールティ学会」において、各共同研究者が発表したものである。本研究の最終報告書には、1998年12月に共同研究者全員がウィーン大学に集まり検討を加えた第1部と第3部の一部を収めて公表する。なお、本研究参加者は、今後も機会を見つけて集まり、密接に連絡をとり、第2部を含めた本格的な『仏教論理学用語辞典』をウィーン大学チベット学仏教学研究所より刊行する予定である。

The compilation of the "Dictionary of Educational Logic Terms" for the purpose of international joint research has been completed in the current and last years. The main purpose of this study is to complete the research of university education and research institute. Future issues include the importance of teaching logic, such as Tattvasamgrahapanjika, and the general publicity of the Department of Literature of Hiroshima University. The Institute of Education of the University publishes a predetermined dictionary of academic terms, which consists of three parts. Part 1: The main compendium of the logic of teaching.
