We have researched about the paintings of Osaka school, in the period of Edo, on which the investigation and study haven't been sufficiently done. The seven hundred paintings, which have been collected by Kansai University Library and other institutions, were taken the photographs and the data of these paintings were recorded in the cards. Moreover, the researches of the documents, which have been collected at some universities, for example, Kyoto Institute of Technology, were done by the investigators.This research could be carried forward around Kimura Kenkado and other painters, who are very important in Osaka school. For example, Aiseki, Ueda Kofu, Ueda Kocho, Okada Hanko, Katsu Jyagyoku, Sato Hodai, Syorin, Sumie Buzen, Tsukioka Sessai, Nakai Ranko, Nakamura Hochu, Nagayama Koin, Nishiyama Hoen, Nichosai, Hamada Kyodo, Hineno Taizan, Mori Ippo, Mori Jiho and Mori Tetsuzan etc., Who belong to Kano school, Shijyo school, Maruyama school and Bunjin school etc.

我们对江户时代的大坂画派绘画进行了研究，但对大坂画派绘画的调查和研究还不够充分。关西大学图书馆等机构收藏的700幅绘画作品被拍摄了照片，并将这些绘画的数据记录在卡片上。此外，研究者还对京都工业大学等一些大学收集的文献进行了研究，这些研究可以围绕木村贤和等大坂画派的重要人物展开。例如，Aiseki、上田甲夫、上田甲町、冈田韩子、Katsu Jyagyoku、Sato Hodai、Syorin、Sumie Buzen、Tsukioka Sessai、Nakai Ranko、中村护中、Nagayama Koin、Nishiyama Hoen、Nichosai、Hamada Kyodo、Hineno Taizan、Mori Ippo、Mori Jiho和Mori Tetsuzan等，属于鹿野学派、四条学派、丸山学派和文人学派等。
