Windows NT Server is used as OS of almost all the computer system introduced to compulsory education schools. The reason is that they considered that it is comparatively easy to learn to operate Windows NT Server if they can operate Windows 95/98 which is most popular as OS of personal computers today. It was made sure by this study.In this study, we developed a curriculum for a teaching training course, where those who has the knowledge and operating technique of Windows 95/98 and the application software like word processors can learn the knowledge and skill hot to operate Windows NT Server and how to administrate it. The aim of the curriculum is basic study of Windows NT Server for 8 weeks on the assumption of a 15 weeks teaching training course.The contents of the curriculum are lectures about the basic knowledge of network", "re-installment of personal computers", "installment of Windows NT Server", "network construction and registration of users", "setting up of personal computers for client", "joint ownership of files and CD-ROM drive", "operation of Windows NT Server", "installation of SCSI board, LAN board and additional memories".We made up a text to learn these contents for 8 weeks. This text includes many colored pictures for students to study by themselves. The explanations in the text are also colored in black, blue and red for easy understanding.We have training for 15 teachers, 2 undergraduates and 2 graduate students about 7 weeks with this text. They could operate personal computers to accomplish their learning aims with this text and little supplementation.
