動的文字による聴覚障害児の擬態語指導の研究

项目摘要

本研究の目的は、(1)聴覚障害児における擬態語発達状況の把握、(2)聴覚障害児の語彙指導における動的文字(キネティックタイポグラフィ)活用の有効性、の検証である。擬態語指導における動的文字活用の有効性を検証するために、次のような実験を行った。1.実験材料:小学校1-3年生レベルの12の擬態語(きりきり・ぐうぐう・くすくす・ぐんぐん・ごうごう・すくすく・はらはら・ふわふわ・べったり・むくむく・ゆるゆる・わいわい)2.実験方法:(1)被験児:聴覚障害児小学部4年・6年生、中学部2年生の計54名、健聴児:小学校2年生、小学校4年生の計40名(2)手続き:擬態語の理解度は指導前・指導後テストにより測定した。指導効果は呈示条件(文・動的文字・イラスト)ごとに、SD法を用いて理解度を測定した。3.その結果、以下のような知見がえられた。(1)聴覚障害児(読書力上位群):擬態語理解度は、小学部と中学部において差が示され、ある程度の読書力を有する場合、学年の進行ととも、擬態語の獲得の発達傾向がみられた。また、指導効果は、小学部で動的文字による理解の促進が示唆された。(2)聴覚障害児(読書力下位群):擬態語の理解度は小学部と中学部の差が示されるものの、理解の頻度が少ない。つまり、擬態語の発達傾向は示されるものの、基礎レベルの擬態語の獲得に少々の困難が示されると思われる。指導効果は、小学部において動的文字の呈示により理解の促進の可能性が示唆された。(3)健聴児:擬態語理解状況においては、小学校2年生と4年生の差が示されており、学年の進行にともなう擬態語発達の傾向と指導の効果が検証された。指導効果は、小学校2年生では動的文字の効果が、4年生ではイラストの効果が検証された。このことから、聴覚障害児における基礎レベルの擬態語の獲得は、健聴児と同様に、その発達傾向が示されること、また、動的文字による指導の効果は、健聴児においては小学校2年生の低学年において顕著に示されること、また、聴覚障害児においては、小学部の段階で、擬態語の理解を促進させることが明らかになった。
