项目摘要

1.マルチチャンネル録音システムの構築ブナ天然林の林床に設置するための可搬型の4チャンネルの音声と、映像を記録するシステムを構築した。音と映像を同期させるために、同じ記録媒体(テープなど)に4チャンネルの音と動画を同時に記録できるDV方式を採用した。2.ブナ林サウンドスケープの記録ブナ林内に、1.で構築したシステムを東京大学秩父演習林ブナ・イヌブナ天然林内に設置し、マルチチャンネル録音・録画試験を行った。早朝の録画は室内と室外の温度差が激しく機材への結露が心配されたが,デッキ等を自動車内に設置しマイクとカメラのみ林内に持ち込むことで機械の故障もなく録画を行うことができた設置し、サウンドスケープの記録を行った。3.サウンドスケープ再現評価記録した映像・音声(4チャンネル)を再生し、被験者10名で、現場と比較しながらその再現性をディスカッションした。マルチチャンネルの音声により、映像だけでは困難な森林内の空間的な把握が可能になるとの知見を得た。4.サウンドスケープのモニタリングの意義と課題マイク特性によって暗騒音の周波数特性が変わり,再生時に受ける音場の印象が大きくことなることが分かった。4チャンネルサラウンドによって得られる音に関する臨場感に対して,モニターの限られたフレーム内でしかもNTSC方式の水平走査線が525本という画質の映像は実際に目で見る映像からは大きく違ったものになっていることから,通常のステレオ音声のビデオにおける音と絵の関係よりも音情報から受ける情報が大きい。今後は4チャンネル収音の方法を連続長期の森林環境モニタリングに応用するために,記録された情報をデジタル化し共有する手法の開発,映像と音によって記録される森林情報の評価を行う必要がある。
