Linguistic and Anthropological Research on Oral Traditions of Minorities in Northern Philippines and central/southern Taiwan.

本研究的目的是从语言学和人类学的角度研究菲律宾北部和台湾中南部少数民族的口述传统。这项研究的结果在对口头传统及其与人类学的关系的研究中公布。参与这一项目的四名研究人员和一名合作者在菲律宾和台湾进行了调查：菲律宾：伊瓦丹南部方言(森口)、伊特巴亚特民歌和谚语(山田)的民俗和谚语；台湾：布农和亚美(森口)的民间传说，鹿原的鲁凯迁徙，宫冈的传统宗教仪式，野林的狩猎。森口在村里长老的帮助下记录和转录布农的口头传统，并将其翻译成中文，这似乎对了解他们的传统非常有帮助，年轻一代的母语已经改变为中文，除了日语和英语。

The purpose of this research is to study oral traditions of the minorities in northern Philippines and central/southern Taiwan linguistically and anthropologically. The result of the research is publicized in An Examination of the Oral Traditions and its Relationship to Anthropology.Four researchers and one collaborator participating in this project surveyed in the Philippines and Taiwan :Philippines : Folklore and proverbs in Ivatan southern dialect (Moriguchi),Itbayat folksongs and proverbs (Yamada) ;Taiwan : Folklore in Bunun and Yami (Moriguchi) ,Migration of Rukai (Kasahara),Traditional religious service in Tsou (Miyaoka),Hunting in Tsou (Nobayashi).Moriguchi recorded and transcribed the oral traditions in Bunun with the help of elders of the village and translated them into Chinese, which seemed to be very helpful in understanding their traditions to the younger generations whose native language has already altered to Chinese, in addition to Japanese and English.
