项目摘要

3年次の本年度は、(1)教育実践現場における教育実践と通信環境ならびにコンピュータ等を活用した学習活動の現状について調査研究を行いながら、(2)通信環境を活用した学習支援サイトの整備を行い、併せて(1)の調査研究から得た知見を基に、(3)インターネット上の学習情報サイトから多信する動画像デジタルコンテンツの制作を行った。(1)教育実践現場における学習活動の現状に関する調査研究本研究期間3年間、国立大学法人附属A小学校と一般公立B小学校に継続的に関わり、主に4・6年生の「総合的な学習の時間」や社会科における調べ学習など、児童生徒の主体的な追究/問題解決による学習活動について、参与観察・インタビューなど質的研究法を中心に調査研究を行った。その結果、通信環境(インターネット等)を活用した調査研究活動においては、当初段階において児童が設定した学習課題について調査をすすめるが、単一の情報が得られた時点で結論が得られたかのような意識を児童が抱いてしまい、調査活動が終了するというケースが多いことが明らかになった。すなわち、現状のインターネット上の情報サイトが「新たな学習課題(疑問)が見つかる」などの発展的な活動を促したり、児童生徒のさらなる追究意欲を生起させたりすることが困難な状況にあることが見えてきた。また、インターネットの活用形態についても、一時的な情報検索における活用が殆どであり、自己表現や相互交流等に用いられる機会が少ないことが明らかになった。また児童に対する質問紙調査の結果より、調査研究活動において児童が「面白くない」と思う場面に関して、「やりたいことが見つからない」「何をやっていいかわからない」などの回答が多く、課題設定や研究方法決定において児童が行き詰まりを感じていることが明らかとなった。(2)通信環境を活用した学習支援サイトの整備昨年度までに購入したサーバコンピュータ、サーバソフト、ハードディスク等を用い、学習支援サイト『博物館の博物館』旧サーバからコンテンツを移築整備し、アクセス障害等による学習者の心理的負荷を軽減する環境整備を行うとともに、動画像デジタルコンテンツを提供できるサーバ環境整備をすすめた。(3)動画像デジタルコンテンツの制作(1)の知見をふまえ、博物学的情報サイト『博物館の博物館』において、学習内容に関する情報のみならず、課題設定や研究方法(ものの見方・考え方など)に関する情報提供を意図し、魚の研究者と芸術の研究者が出演する当該内容に関する動画像コンテンツの内容を検討して、コンテンツ素材を収録した。
