项目摘要

・震災復興期に建設された東京市立病院の配置計画に関する論文執筆関東大震災後の復興期に建設された7つの東京市立病院の配置計画について、前年度までの史料収集と考察を発展させ、論文を執筆した。近代における病院建築の史的展開が、主に管理・運営体制との関わりから論じられてきたのに対し、当該の論文では、東京市立病院の配置計画が、忌避の対象であった伝染病院を都市の内部に存立させるための技法を含むものであったことを明らかにした。・近代東京における民間病院の建築的実態の解明に向けた史料の収集と分析前年度、明治期かち昭和戦前期の東京に存在した民間病院のリストを作成し、総体を把握した。本年度はそれらの建築的実態の解明に向け、史料収集と分析を進めた。現存の確認できた建築図面類・工事関係書類は複写した。図面の現存する病院は限られているが、「医療案内書」等に写真や建築の概要に関する記述が多数掲載されていることを見いだした。開業の記念に絵葉書を作成していた病院も複数みられ、資料館等において複写、あるいは古書店等から購入した。それらは近代東京における中小規模病院について建築的実態を明らかにする新史料である。明治30年代の民間病院については史料に恵まれ、分析と考察をまとめつつあり、学会に発表する予定である。・近代東京における診療所建築に関する調査診療所については、建築形式の成立と展開を明らかにするために、建築専門雑誌・住宅専門雑誌から関連する図面および記事を収集するとともに、医師会名簿など、地理的展開を明らかにする上で有益な史料を収集した。診療所は補完的な検討テーマと位置づけていたが、併用住宅として、また、各地域における身近な医療機関として日本固有の発達をしてきたものと捉えるに至り、調査・研究を拡充させた。
