项目摘要

本年度はまず、5月に東京で行われた国際東方学会で「ニューヨーク近代美術館の日本建築:松風荘と戦後アメリカにおける日本ブームについて」と題した発表を行った。これは、本研究の第四章で考察した日米の美術交流が、戦後どのように始まったかについて調査した成果で、第二次世界大戦後の両国の関係修復の過程において、日本の伝統的な美術や建築が果たした役割を明らかにしたものだ。発表時に高い評価を得たこの論考は東方学会の紀要論文に推薦され、12月に掲載号が刊行された。8月から9月にかけてはヴェネツィアのビエンナーレとカッセルのドクメンタを視察し、本研究にとって重要な位置を占める国際美術展についての視察、調査を行った。特にカッセルのアーカイヴでは戦後ドイツの文化復興政策としてドクメンタが開催された経緯とその中でアメリカ美術が果たした役割について調査を行い、本研究を更に発展させていく糸口をつかんだ。帰国後は第四章を英語圏の学術誌『アート・ブルテン』に、また第一章を『西洋美術研究』に投稿するなど、本研究の成果を日本語と英語、両方の媒体で発表することに尽力した。また、12月から1月にかけては本研究をアメリカで学術書として刊行すべく、企画書を制作して各出版社に送付した。2月にはアメリカの美術史学会で"Monogram as 'Glocal' Icon: Rauschenberg and Contem-porary Globalism"と題した研究発表を行った。この学会には出版社の編集者も参加するため、そのうちの幾人かと打ち合わせのアポイントを取り、出版の可能性について討議した。

This year, the International Oriental Society held a ceremony in Tokyo in May to present the title "Japanese Architecture in Modern Art Museum: Matsukaido, Japan". The fourth chapter of this study examines the achievements of Japanese art exchanges, the process of restoration of relations between Japan and China after the Second World War, and the achievements of Japanese traditional art and architecture. A review of the proceedings of the Oriental Society was published in December. August, September, 2010: The inspection and investigation of the important position of this study in the International Art Exhibition. In particular, this study aims to further develop the policy of cultural revival in China. The fourth chapter of the academic journal of the English language, the first chapter of the Western art research, the results of this research, the Japanese language, the English language and the Chinese media. December, January, December, December, February: "Monogram as 'Glocal' Icon: Rauschenberg and Contemporary Globalism" The society discussed the possibility of publishing by participating in the editorial process of the publishing house.
