今研究においては、Rotating Savings and Credit Associations(ROSCAs)について分析を行った。当初「stylized facts」の確立のため具体的なデータの利用可能性を模索していたが、具体的に利用可能なデータを見つける事ができなかったため、過去の実証論文(Calomiris and Rajaraman、JDE、1998等)で示されたobservationを参照しながら、理論的考察を行った。理論的側面については、幾つか大別されるクラスのROSCAsについてcommitmentを仮定した上で行動分析を行った。しかし、理論的にどちらがdefaultの可能性が高くなるかの具体的な結果は得られなかった。それぞれにadvantage/disadvantageが存在し、現実には異なる環境でパフォーマンスの差がでると考えられる。今研究におけるauctionのformatおよび仮定は単純なものとしたが、この設定においても所得水準のrealizationにより、bidsがfluctuateする事は容易に示すことが可能であり、Calomiris and Rajaramanで観察されているようなbidsの動きを説明することは可能である。Bidsが正の値をとる条件や、discount factorや(initial)wealth等へのheterogeneityが与えうる効果についても考察した。

This research is conducted in the field of Rotating Savings and Credit Associations(ROSCAs). At the beginning, the establishment of stylized facts and the possibility of using specific data were modeled, and the possibility of using specific data was seen. Past empirical papers (Calomiris and Rajaraman, JDE, 1998, etc.) showed that observations were made with reference to theoretical investigations. The bottom of the theory is to analyze the behavior of ROSCAs The probability of theoretical default is high, and the concrete result is high. There are advantages and disadvantages in the environment. In this study, the format of auction is too fixed to be pure, the realisation of the obtained level is too easy to show, the movement of bids is too easy to explain, Calomiris and Rajaraman are too easy to detect. The heterogeneity of Bids, such as positive value, discount factor,(initial)wealth, etc., is examined in conjunction with the results.
