縄文時代から弥生時代への移行期にみられる再葬墓を造営した集団について、墓地出土の土器棺などのδ13Cを中心とした同位体分析により食性の復元とそのばらつき度合いから、集団の均一性と移入者の存在を検討するのが本研究の目的である。土器棺は、日常的な使用の後に棺に転用された可能性が高く、その土器棺に付着した炭化物の食性分析の集積は集団構成を考える上で重要である。今回は、愛知県馬見塚遺跡出土の土器棺の分析を中心に、その可能性を検討した。
