本研究は, 生分解性ポリマーブレンド多孔質膜の内部構造を制御して高機能化し, バイオプロセスに利用することを目的として進めた。内部構造の制御については, ポリ乳酸とポリカプロラクトンのポリマーブレンドについて種々の混合比のポリマーブレンド溶液の相分離挙動を観察し, さらに相分離法により各種生分解性ポリマーブレンド多孔質膜を作製した。バイオプロセスへの応用については分離膜への応用と生分解性ポリマーブレンド多孔質体内でのヒト肝細胞HepG2の培養を検討した。
