暗黙知の表出化に関しては, IT 技術による支援は難しく, 問題の劇的な改善は難しいとされているが, 知の表出・表現の基礎になる概念体系の欠如が知の交流の大きな障害になっており, その障害を軽減することによって暗黙知の表出化・共有化が活性化されうる(学習の事象や理論を構成する概念辞書をきめ細かく整備し, それを参照しやすい環境を提供すれば, 発信者が知を表出しやすくなり, 受け手が了解しやすくなる)との知見を得た。
